I labeled this as an in home newborn session; but Alden was actually a couple months old when these were taken! We had plans for an in home newborn session but due to some health complications those plans were put on hold. I was so excited when it was finally time for me to capture this beautiful family because after following each other on instagram for awhile I had felt a connection with this cute family. We started in their nursery (which was the CUTEST) then cuddled up in the master room to read some stories. I love when families have activities planned for their sessions; it makes in home newborn sessions so much more natural feeling. We ended the session on the couch in the living room by their fireplace. It was the perfect in home session on a snowy February day!
